I see Cedar shavings an every petstore I go in, it’s awful for any pets respiratory system.
There’s so many, another one that just came to my mind is those heating rocks for reptiles. Theirs not way to control the heat on those. So they can get pretty hot! & end up leaving burns on the reptiles.
What pet products do you see for sale that shouldn’t be sold ?

Shock collars
Marshall’s ferret food and Ferret Fiesta. Worst foods ever.
Also, wood shavings and dusty things as litter. Thank you, manufacturers, you’re trying to give my pets respiratory problems.
Edit: Also, horrible treats with all the things you shouldn’t feed your pets.
choke collars, shock collars, flea collars, Science Diet pet food!
Hartz flee collars and dollar store dog food!
heat rocks
fishbowls
Kaytee food for any species, sandpaper perch covers, sandpaper cage liners, anything with lead, mite/lice spray for birds, grit labeled as being for hookbills…
• over the counter meds (most people shouldn’t be diagnosing their pet’s health problems)
• prong training collars (evil things in the average joe’s hands)
• anything by hartz or sergent’s (too toxic)
• pig ears or compressed dog chews (have had dogs brought in that needed surgery to remove them)
• the “starter kit” ferret cages (they’re fine for a guinea pig maybe, but way too small for an adult ferret)
• radio collars (hunters turn dogs loose to chase down a bear or deer or whatever they’re hunting, then when the dog has it cornered, the owner just uses a GPS to find them. some sport, huh?)
Cages.
Choke collars – says it all
Fish bowls – omg i cant urge
Well, from a wellness standpoint, I have to say
that doggie diapers are bad as they can make
a dog overheated. ALSO, the tee shirts
that they make for small dogs..they can cause a dog
to die, my trainer told me…Because the dog gets
TOO HOT in them.
xo
Shock collars, prong collars, Iams Pet Food, Science Diet Pet Food, there’s so many things that I could list.
