Not really, the best pet food you can buy is called innova evo. Its the next best thing to a raw diet. It mimics the animals ancestral diet and has no by products in it or grains. If the first few things in it are by product or meal then its no good.Try evo you will notice a HUGE difference in your pet and its not very expensive

It is quite good I use pedigree though because there is so much different variety to choose from and my dog loves it!
